Monday, May 25th is Memorial Day. St. Denis will celebrate their annual Memorial Day Mass outside (weather permitting) near the Veteran’s section of their cemetery as we honor all of the Service members who made the ultimate sacrifice in their fight for our freedom. Mass begins at 9am. In case of inclement weather, we will celebrate the Mass inside the church. Please come to worship with us in honor of those who gave their lives for our country. Please bring your own chair if Mass is outside. Of course, you may stand if you wish. At least two Veterans, Scouts or Civil Air Patrol cadets are needed for the flag ceremony. Please contact Alex Contini at (914) 475-2853 if you are interested. Light refreshments will be available.
The group formally known as parent-child connection group has returned to St. Kateri. Growing in Grace welcomes children ages 0-3 and their caregivers to empower them to raise their children, confidently in the Catholic faith. The connection will happen using stories, arts and crafts, music, playtime and a quick snack. We believe that parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and childcare givers are a child’s first and most important teachers! Growing in Grace meets on Tuesdays from 11-11:45 am.
