LOST?..ALONE?..ILLNESS?..FEARFUL? Jesus who never abandons you is here to welcome you into peace and healing. All are welcome to the HEALING MASS on OCTOBER 6th at St. Kateri Parish. Soothing Praise and worship welcomes you at 7 pm; Mass at 7:30. Exposition follow Mass with Laying on of Hands, the Sacrament of the Sick and Prayers for Healing. Individual Prayer Teams are available, for more detailed prayer time. The evening ends with Benediction. Join us for a peaceful time of gentle prayer, Adoration and peace. “Fans of Faith," is a new fellowship community for teens and young adults with IDD, (Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities,) who want to learn more about Jesus and His Church. Contemporary Christian music, Bible study and sharing life experiences are just a few of the activities planned. We will meet Thursday, October 13th at 5:30 pm in the Church Meeting Room. In August, our group will begin reading and discussing Beginning The Early Church Was the Catholic Church by Joe Heschmeyer. Can you defend our Catholic faith as the foundation of Christianity? This book focuses on the first two centuries of Christianity and on bedrock principles of its belief, authority, and worship. We’ll dig into the words and actions of those who lived right after the apostles to see how the faith was practiced back then. If you want to learn to defend our Church at its roots―or even if you’re just curious about what our eldest Christian brothers and sisters believed―you can expect this study group to be richly rewarding.
